There’s something quietly reassuring about wearing Indi & Cold, the Spanish brand based in San Sebastián. No effort is required. These are clothes you’re happy to be seen in — even as you live your life.
For Spring 2026, that sensibility continues. Soft structure, breathable fabrics, and an easy femininity run through the collection. It’s clothing designed not for occasions, but for real days.
Which is exactly why it works so well on Stratford’s Dayna Manning.
Dayna is a multi-faceted musician and community builder who moves fluidly between roles — on stage, in rehearsal, at local gatherings, and out in the world connecting people.
These photos, taken at a resort in the Dominican Republic, capture a more restful version of that rhythm. But you can see how this collection works equally well for a busy everyday life in Canada's spring and summer, or on a vacation in the Caribbean.
An embellished blouse with a gentle drape pairs easily with soft trousers. The drapey silhouettes allow for movement, whether that means setting up for a show or walking to a beachside restaurant.
There’s a balance at the heart of this collection that Dayna leans into instinctively. Feminine details like embroidery, lace trims, and delicate prints are grounded by practical shapes and natural fabrics.
A lightweight top with stitched detailing feels considered, not fussy. Worn with simple shorts, it becomes an outfit you don’t have to think about. That’s part of the appeal. These are tops you can reach for without planning an elaborate outfit around them. They are the outfit.
Indi's colour palettes also play a role. Muted brights, classic neutrals, and deeper tones like navy create a wardrobe that mixes without effort. Dayna moves between them — an airy floral blouse one day, a darker embroidered shirt the next — without ever feeling like she’s stepping into a different version of herself. There’s continuity from one look to the next, and plenty of mixing and matching of tops and bottoms.
What stands out most is how adaptable these pieces are. They shift easily across contexts, from travel to home, from creating to performing. That adaptability isn’t just practical, it’s freeing. It allows someone like Dayna to stay present in what she’s doing.
This summer, Dayna's creative life includes new work for the stage. She wrote original songs for Curveball: The Fast-Pitch Ladies from the Factory Floor, a new musical comedy premiering at the Blyth Festival.
The show tells the story of women’s baseball in mid-century Ontario, and reflects many of the themes that run through her work – collaboration, resilience, and bringing overlooked stories into the spotlight.
Alongside her theatre work, Dayna has just released a new song, A Dream Lives in Your Heart. Its production was sponsored by Resonance, and the song is now available on all streaming platforms.
We’re always inspired to see Dayna's work take shape in new ways, and we're proud to support the creative projects that matter to her.
