Indi & Cold Fall 2025
Featuring Dayna Manning
With photos by Steve MacDonald
There’s something magical about an early fall day in the countryside. Tall grasses sway in the wind, and late afternoon light catches colour in the leaves. This season, that magic meets the artistry of Spanish brand Indi & Cold.
Feminine, Grounded, and Authentic
Known for its sustainable approach and soft silhouettes, Indi & Cold feels like it was made for our friend Dayna Manning. A celebrated musician and beloved friend of Resonance, Dayna is the perfect muse for the Fall 2025 collection.
A midnight blue dress with subtle volume in the sleeves becomes a statement when Dayna adds her guitar. With a stunning Hailey Gerrits piece bringing light to her face, she looks stage- and photo-ready.
On Dayna, a sky-blue knit catches the afternoon sun, offering both warmth and breathability for crisp Ontario days.
There might be dancing
That same sky-blue appears again in a tailored blouse with intricate lace detailing and a high neckline. It's an elevated take on a prairie classic. Paired with jeans and a wide belt, it blends playful nostalgia with modern polish. Is line dancing still a thing? If so, Dayna is ready!
Patterns with Personality
From ikat-inspired prints to artful geometrics, the collection’s patterns are statement-makers, but they don't try too hard. Dayna wears them effortlessly, pairing a patterned blouse with denim for a look that’s as suited to a songwriter’s circle as it is to a dinner downtown. The designs echo the vintage-meets-modern ethos that defines Indi & Cold.
Textures That Tell a Story
The quiet beauty of this collection lies in its tiny details — lace-trimmed fabrics and embroidered details. In close-up, you can see the artistry. These textures invite touch and bring an artisan’s touch to everyday outfits.
A Resonant Connection
Dayna loves to wear Indi & Cold, and this shoot captures why. She embodies the same values we see in Indi & Cold’s Fall 2025 collection: Slow appreciation of life's beauty and a deep respect for the natural world. Whether she’s performing, recording, or simply enjoying a walk in the fields, Dayna shows how these pieces aren’t just clothes. They’re a way of being in the world.
Our thanks
Thanks to Dayna Manning, whose warmth shines through in every frame, and to her husband Steve MacDonald, who captured the moment so beautifully.
