Eileen Fisher is an American clothing company founded in 1984 by a woman who sought to solve her own problems with getting dressed. 

"In my mind I kept seeing these simple shapes for clothes," says Fisher, who was a graphic and interior designer at the time. "I knew they had to be beautiful colours, great fabrics and have certain shapes and proportions. This was my “aha” moment: a system of shapes that worked together and made getting dressed easy."
